Is it a hit or a miss? here’s my take
The room was lovely with a big bay window and large bathroom. Cleanliness was top-notch and the beds were really comfortable.
Some heating issues needed attention during our stay. There was also limited wardrobe space making luggage storage a challenge.

Heating issues in some rooms!!! Small attic rooms can feel cramped!!! Lack of wardrobe space makes storing luggage difficult!!!

Clifton Villa offered a lovely stay. The decor is now magnificent, adding a fresh touch to the entire place. I loved the delicious full English breakfast each morning that set the day off wonderfully. The hosts made us feel incredibly welcome, using our names and ensuring everything was comfortable. Rooms were spotless, and the beds were very comfortable. One aspect to improve is the curtain in our room, which had come down and affected our sleep schedule since the sunlight was a bit bright in the early hours. a small TV in the lounge would enhance the relaxation experience to unwind after a busy day.

The rooms were exceptionally clean (you could really see the shine! ). Staff were wonderfully welcoming and responsive, making our experience delightful. Plus, the location made it easy to explore the main attractions in town.
Some slight noise disturbances could be improved during peak hours.

Our stay was fantastic, especially with the newly decorated room and comfy mattresses that made a world of difference! I loved relaxing in the spacious guest lounge, and the fact that parking was easy added to the convenience. The only hiccup was that the kitchen was being refurbished, so breakfast wasn’t available, but there are plenty of nearby cafes. 😊
